Write a 100 word synopsis of your book. Use the word count on Word to get exactly 100 words. Proofread for spelling, punctuation, and grammar. Make sure to include all of the important events and characters from your story.
**Your Choice** Each person in the group can work on their own synopsis and post separately. We are limited by the number of devices we have, so not everyone will be able to do this. It needs to rhyme and be at least 10 lines long with at least 5 words per line. We are looking for creativity and relation to your book. Your main character, like Sal in Walk Two Moons, gets his/her hands on a genie lamp and can make 3 wishes. Using specific EVIDENCE FROM THE BOOK, list the three wishes, explaining WHY he/she chose them and describing what will happen in the book because of the three wishes. If you do not include evidence from the book (AND PAGE NUMBERS), you will not receive credit for the blog.

Find a place in the book where a character has each of these feelings. Write a sentence telling about it and the use a quote from the book to prove your statement. Example: Kenny felt surprised when he met Corn Flake. Page 31 "But I was kind of surprised that God would send a saver to me in such raggedy clothes." #6 - Blizzards are white, cars accelerate, please write a poem that your teachers find great!2/28/2019 Write a poem about your book.
It needs to rhyme and be at least 10 lines long with at least 5 words per line. We are looking for creativity and relation to your book. Choose one of your characters. Uh-oh, he or she just got caught committing a major crime. Worse yet - it's all over the newspaper, and everyone's reading about it!
With your group, write a creative-yet-believable newspaper story that tells what your character did, why s/he did it, how s/he did it, the punishment, etc. To be in the running for first-to-lunch, you need to include quotes from a variety of people, include more than one of your book's characters in the article, and there needs to be creativity, but not craziness. |
