Choose one of your characters. Uh-oh, he or she just got caught committing a major crime. Worse yet - it's all over the newspaper, and everyone's reading about it!
With your group, write a creative-yet-believable newspaper story that tells what your character did, why s/he did it, how s/he did it, the punishment, etc. To be in the running for first-to-lunch, you need to include quotes from a variety of people, include more than one of your book's characters in the article, and there needs to be creativity, but not craziness.

Write a poem about your book.
It needs to rhyme and be at least 10 lines long with at least 5 words per line. We are looking for creativity and relation to your book. At first I thought (describe something from the book), but now I think.... (You should revise one of your predictions.)
This part (describe a part of the book) is really saying... (describe the underlying meaning of some part of the book.) This character thought/did/said this____, but now that character thinks/says/does... (How is a character in the book changing?) Next, write a creative paragraph(s) describing a fun way that your conflict COULD be resolved. Remember to describe the book's conflict in your paragraph. Your main character (Nate, Daniel, Aubrey, Rachel, Milo, E.D., etc.) gets his/her hands on a genie lamp and can make 3 wishes. Using EVIDENCE FROM THE BOOK!, list the three wishes, explaining WHY he/she chose them and describing what will happen in the book because of the three wishes. If you do not include evidence from the book, you will not receive credit for the blog.
You'll do 2 tweets about your book according to Twitter's rules (140 CHARACTERS) - one about characters, one about the plot. Creative-while-relevant hashtags are encouraged and welcome. :)
Place the characters of your book into a different setting and write a creative story using your characters as the main characters in the story. We are looking for creativity and an interesting plot.
Each group member needs to make predictions about the book.
